Procrastination= Shannon Wallace

Sorry guys, my personal life got in the way of my writing, and a lot of life changing events are motivating the ending to my story. I am up to something big, though. I am on a quest for Jack Black to turn my book into a movie. I'm thinking Mathew Mconeghy for Jesse?? Let me know who the cast should be.

February

Wow! My readers are coming from all over lately. Texas, Maine, Iowa, N.Y., where do they find me? The different areas I find fascinating, and I would like more feedback in your bigfoot interest. In case you don't know, I live in Long Island. Right now there is a serial killer on the loose who they've dubbed as 'the Oak Beach Killer' as he has been soliciting prostitutes off Craig's list, killing them and dumping them at Oak and Gilgo beaches. I happen to frequent that area often with my dogs, and I was in the process of doing research there for one of my books when this event took place. My heart goes out to the victims and the families, but I do feel the killer is right under our noses. I do write about corrupt police officers, and by now everybody knows how I feel about them. These are not trained men on the case, and we all know how they were handed their badges. Long Island police are nothing but glorified mafia and it's obvious the killer knows that. He wasn't stupid in choosing his dumping ground, he didn't even conceal the bodies. I would go as far as to say he was mocking the police. But who am I? I have the degree. Those cops don't. They have relatives. By the way, I live in Nassau county, one of the richest counties in the country, and for years, we have been in the worst financial debt, yet the politicians can't figure out where the money is going??? I'm no mathematical genius, but I may have a clue... And no, Bigfoot is not in Long Island!

Inspired by Music

Don't cry for me Argentina, the truth is I never left you. All threw my wild life, my mad existence, I've kept my promise, don't keep your distance. It won't be easy, you'll think it's strange when I try to explain that I still need you love after all that I've done. I had to let it happen. I had to change. So I choose freedom, ran around trying everything new. The answer was here all the time. I love you and hope you love me.

Sweet Jane, Glycerine, I was made for loving you--Kiss Always a Woman,

During writer's block, I turn to certain songs for inspiration. The songs I choose relate to my characters and what THEY are going through.

Major turn in my new story today. Can't wait to share it with everybody!

Spill on This

My cousin Jessie just started her own non-profit organization called "Spill On This". What is does is this: Raise money for animals in need, but goes to ONLY animals in need and not corporates to drive around in Mercedes. If an animal needs an operation and the owner cannot afford it, Spill On This will get involved to save that animal's life. I 100% support this group, and I am donating 15% of my internet sales to Spill on This. So buy a book and save a life, and I promise, I will still be driving my minivan.

New Chapter

I am very excited about my latest chapter in 'West of Chestnut'. Recently my ex-husband, who is also my editor, told me he can't work with me because we are no longer married. But as of last weekend I gave him a draft of my latest novel and I think I drew him back in...to my work, not me. Can't wait to hear what he thinks about the direction of my novel, being that it's finally on one course. When I write, I don't know the ending of the book, and it changes daily. For instance, one of the characters is based on my sister who is a cop, and she pissed me off recently, so I killed a cop in the story. ha ha ha. It's great being a writer! People ask me to put them in my books then regret it later. More importantly, one of my favorite people in the world, Dr. Hank Reiter, whom I've mentioned before, was supposed to co-write this book with me but can no longer do so because he has passed away. If he were here, he'd make some stupid joke about that. But I don't find it funny. He was doing extensive research on serial killers before he died, and I'm writing this book, strictly from Dr. Reiter's notes. This novel will be dedicated to him, although no book , no memorial, no scholarship, no movie, no photo, no words or phrase could take the place of that void that he leaves behind.

Recent Bigfoot sighting

I was notified this weekend that there was three Bigfoot sitings in Lake George. I will be meeting with Andy of EPNA.webs.com soon to discuss these findings in detail. Paul Bartholomew is in the process of investigating.
