Murder
I have been doing a lot of research for my next novel, which is a psychological thriller. To create believable characters, you have to give them life. One of my characters commits murder, and there are many types of murderers in the world, ranging from the Depressive to the Sadistic. Most of my research is from Dr. Reiter's notes, my former Forensic Psychology Professor. Brilliant man. As I'm going over various case studies, majority of murders are triggered because people are in financial debt, and feel they have nothing left to loose, and killing will give them some sort of power. Think about it, our economy sucks, and crime is up. I predict a lot more killings in the near future. Just look at that poor mother and son who's ex-husband came in and killed them both. This is a sad world we live in. People suck. On another note, I'm also doing extensive research on Stonewall Jackson from the Civil War. If anyone has any information on him, I'd love to hear it.

The Farm and some amazing stores
Sorry I have not been keeping up with my blog. I have been experiencing the 'sales' side of the business, which isn't that bad, but I'd rather be writing all day. Anyway, my book is now on the shelves of a few stores that I think would be of interest to you. I hand picked these stores myself, each for reasons that I feel suited both my needs and my readers. Trees is a bookstore in Bolton Landing. It has a rustic feeling to it, the staff are friendly, and they know a good book when they see it! If you are in Lake George, take a trip to Bolton Landing and stop in to Trees, and I guarantee you will find other great books about the Adirondacks in that store. And while you're there, take a walk across the street to the sporting goods store to check out some unique hiking, camping, fishing and rafting equipment. Don't forget to tell them that Shannon Wallace sent you! As you know, I write about the famous Minnehaha in my novel. My book is also sold in the gift shop on board that ship, as well as in the Steamboat Company located in the heart of Lake George. Also in Lake is Sadie's Gift shop and drug store, where they have many Native American souveniers, including realistic wolf statues, which is another reason I choose to sell my book in that store. If you're strolling in Manhattan, you can find my book in the best book store in the city, Forbidden Planet, located at 840 Broadway. Like Family Guy? Looking for Family Guy figures?
